Baby in Bloom Wildflowers

When to Plant
Sow after the danger of frost has passed. In warm climates, wildflowers may also be planted during the cooler fall season.

Where to Plant
Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Most wildflowers perform best with 6 or more hours of sunlight per day.

How to Plant
Prepare the soil by removing weeds and loosening the top layer. Scatter seeds evenly over the soil surface. Gently press the seeds into the soil so they have good soil contact. Do not bury deeply.

Watering
Keep the seeded area consistently moist while the seeds are germinating. Use a gentle spray to avoid washing the seeds away. Once established, water as needed according to local weather conditions.

Growing
Germination and bloom times will vary depending on the varieties in the mix, temperature, rainfall, and growing conditions. Allow flowers to mature and enjoy the changing mix of blooms throughout the season.

Tip: If you’re starting the seeds in the included favor pot, seedlings can be transplanted into the garden or a larger container as they grow.
