Long Purple brings the graceful shape of an old Italian-style eggplant to the summer garden. Slender fruits ripen to a glossy, deep purple and offer a mild flavor, hanging from productive plants that reach about 22 to 38 inches tall.

Harvest the fruits when they are about 8 inches long, while their color is rich and their elegant, elongated form is at its best.

Packet artwork and paper color may vary slightly from the packet shown.
