Pull a little rainbow from the soil. Rainbow Blend gathers Atomic Red, Cosmic Purple, Lunar White, and Solar Yellow carrots into one bright planting, creating a harvest that moves from ruby and violet to ivory and gold. The roots may be gathered young at 50 to 60 days or left to reach their full 8- to 10-inch length in about 75 days.
Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in spring, then sow in succession through the cooler months for an extended harvest. Carrots are happiest in full sun and loose, well-draining soil where their colorful roots have room to grow straight and true. 1 gram packet contains approximately 995 seeds.
