Turn a sunny patch into a tall, loose tapestry of flowers for wings, beaks, and summer movement. This Hummingbird, Butterfly & Songbird Mix grows over 3 feet high, creating a meadow-like planting filled with nectar-bearing blooms in a wide range of colors, heights, and forms.
For even sowing, mix the seed with a small amount of soil and scatter evenly over the prepared site. Direct sow after danger of frost has passed, or sow in late fall for natural stratification; the seed will wait through winter and germinate in spring. Plant in full sun.
Planting rates: 11–22 lbs per acre; for a half acre or less, 8 oz per 1,000 sq ft. Packet covers approximately 20 sq ft.
